Vintage 1950’s-1960’s Fechheimer Bro’s Department of Agriculture U.S Forest Service Uniform Jacket. Fechheimer Label missing. Amazing well made jacket in a cotton-gabardine material. According to the Forest Service Museum this is a “Cruiser” Style jacket which saw use between 1938 to 1970. This jacket still retains its originally applied US Forest Service Patch in the 1950s-1960s style and a distinctive unit insignia from Deerlodge National Forest which was founded by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1908 and is the largest National Forest in Montana. Today it is called the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest after the two Forests were combined in 1996.
