— Awarded to Italian troops that fought against the Ottoman Empire (Turkey) in the Libyan Campaign of 1911-12. It was also known as the Tripolitan War and was regarded by the Italian Government as a separate action during the Italo Turkish War. The obverse is the same as the Italo Turkish War Medal. This medal was awarded up until The Second World War.
