Original Bush War Era Rhodesian British South Africa Police Sub Aqua Diver Unit Plaque. Extremely Rare!
Considering Rhodesia was a Landlocked Nation, they did not have a Navy or Diver units per se, qualified divers from Rhodesia’s security forces did exist in some forms and were trained in South Africa by South African Navy and Special Forces units. The BSAP did in fact have a small Diving Unit in Rhodesia which was used for bodies of water such as Lake Kariba and were trained in diver recovery efforts.
Copper on wood. Made by H.T. Enterprises of Salisbury, Rhodesia.
Measures approximately 6 1/2” wide and 7 1/2” tall.
