Spectacular post Civil War Late 19th Century color Lithograph of General Stonewall Jackson. This amazing colored lithograph of the General was printed in 1877 by Strobridge Co. of Cincinnati Ohio and is based on the Portrait done by J. W. King in 1864. The Lithograph measures 9” X 11”
Some edge wear as expected and chipping in corners, as expected, but nonetheless in amazing condition with vibrant colors.
Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson (January 21, 1824 – May 10, 1863) was a general officer in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. He played a prominent role in nearly all military engagements in the Eastern theater of the war until his death. Military historians regard him as one of the most gifted tactical commanders in U.S. history.
