Original World War Two US Army Officer’s Cap owned and used by Lt. Col John C. Cavin.

The Cap is in great condition and features a Gaunt (British Made) American Eagle Cap Insignia. Size 7. 

Lieutenant Colonel John C Cavin of Melno, Georgia went over to the European Theater of Operations (ETO) in October 1944 with the 48th Tank Battalion of the 14th Armored Division. He commanded the unit and was awarded two Silver Stars and two Bronze Stars. Cavin wrote their unit history titled "We Came to Fight".
