Original Vietnam War US Army Special Forces Attributed ARVN Insignia and Gallantry Award Lot from the estate of Lt Wilbur Leon Lee who served in 3rd Special Forces Group and 5th Special Forces Group in Vietnam, and was CO of Detachment A-502 in 1967-1968.
This lot includes;
an ARVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) Major Rank “Thieu Ta” Insignia Badge.
ARVN Master Jump Wings, metal, in-country made, Insignia Badge with Oak Leaf Cluster.
ARVN Master Jump Wings, embroidered, in-country made and uniform removed, with Oak Leaf Cluster Insignia.
And a Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross “Anh-Dũng Bội-Tinh” or “Croix de la Vallance”. This medal was created on August 15, 1950 and was awarded to military personnel, civilians, Armed Forces units, and organizations in recognition of deeds of valor or heroic conduct while in combat with the enemy.
