Original Border War era South African Defence Force (SADF) 4 Reconnaissance Regiment (RECCE) Seaborne Operator’s Presentation Award featuring a Pewter Viking Longboat on a wooden base with the 4 RECCE flash insignia applied to the obverse. On the reverse shows signs of where the awardees placard used to be, assuming this was purposefully removed prior to coming to the collecting market. Extremely hard to find piece.
