Modified SADF Para-Fox Demolitions Bag.

Very scarce Border War era piece of kit that was issued to certain South African SOF units.

Physical Description:

  • The bag is a very sturdy, lightweight, brown nylon material. It features a dual brown nylon webbing carry handle that extends under the bottom. Heavy duty YKK centre zipper with top, snap-down storm flap, with a 2" brown nylon webbing reinforcement across the bottom. 44x flap covered small pocket for dets on the inside centre. Five magazine style pouches for tools in the bottom center. The left side of the bag (behind zippered flap) has slots for blocks of C4 and other Demolitions with three large pouches stitched to the divider. The right side of the bag (behind zippered flap) has large slots for det cord spools & 20x small flap-covered pockets stitched to divider. Each inside flap is double layered with a top zipper (for paperwork, maps, etc) and each has end zips and top velcro.
  • Measurements: 17" L x 12" W x 10" T (43cm X 31cm X 26cm) excluding the added pouches.

Modifications:

  • Three of the original inside pouches have been removed and stitched to the outside of the bag, each has velcro and snaps.
  • Two R-1 mag pouches from a Para-Fox chest rig have been added as well.
  • ALICE type loops have also been added to the ends of the bag.
