Original World War Two US Army Philippine Department Shoulder Sleeve Insignia Patch.

Features a white Philippine sea lion (taken from the arms of the Philippine Islands) with a sword on a blue oval. The patch was approved on July 8, 1922. It was worn by all scouts not assigned to the Philippine Division, including the cavalry and coast artillery regiments. After 1947, it was redesignated for the Philippine-Ryukyus Command and again for the Philippine Command in 1949.
